My first professional gig was copywriting, a perfect fit for an English major whose other career options were the library and book stores, selling term papers, or working the drive-thru.
All are fine, upstanding occupations and I’m woefully unfit for all of them. Copywriting was the only suitable choice, since it’s a profession packed with juvenile behavior and eccentric misfits. It was home to me, though, and many of my kind.
Well, the point is to show samples of work and here it is — if you’ll play along and call it work. It isn’t, you know. Advertising is to work what field trips are to education. A gas.

At the risk of sounding immodest, my radio reel may be better than the print stuff. I would’ve uploaded it for you here, but I don’t have a clue how to do that. Yet.
If you’re in the market for a broadcast writer/producer, though, send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. And I’ll send you a sampling of my radio spots on DVD. Deal? Deal.
